That'll Teach Me To Ask

"What do you want to do in the October week holiday?", I foolishly asked M, certainly not expected the reply "Go to a wigwam, dad!".

Before I could explain that it would be October, freezing and wet L was on the internet.

So tomorrow we're off to a wigwam on the Mull of Kintyre for the weekend.

Mull Of Kintyre - is that the bit that hangs down and looks like a flaccid cock? Any similarity with Florida ends there.

Ah, the pipes, the heather, the mists, the romance, the midges, the heap-big barking stupidity.

Only kidding - sounds an admirable mini adventure, old dad. Forecast is mild for early October. You'll laugh about it all in years to come.

Oh, and in the morn, I'll raise a tea cup whilst snug under the warm duvet, afore a hot shower and a bacon buttie with Sky Sports.

And dont waste yer time Lookin For Linda.

Just hope that the wind stays south westerly, otherwise you might end up on the Isle Of Man

Disappointed the eponymous Wings song is not here, frankly. Ah, the sound of the pipes...

Good luck Drew. Several layers and a few drops of booze I reckon

Fantastic. Spent one of my most miserable nights under canvas in the October half-term. Yorkshire. Rain and snow. Wet clothes. In a bin liner.

I can laugh about it now...actually I can't
