Every so often something comes into my inbox which catches my full attention when I click play. This album by Beverly did that. A sound made for those hazy days of summer which hopefully we will get a few more of.

Beverly is a recording project between Drew Clinton and Frankie Rose. Conceived on the road, the songwriting and production reflects both Citron's pop insights and Rose's sharp ear for arrangement. 'Careers' (out the 1/7 on Kanine records) combines raw pop, post punk and dreamy melodies, drawing inspiration from The Amps and The Clean.
