some half decent tunes, personal ramblings and the odd rant
big up for a fine selection of music, keep it coming, music to make me smile.
Jimmy Ruffin was a true one off! Such a soulful, emotional voice, he added a complexity to 60's Soul Music. There are so many songs I remember from him - Farewell Is A Lonely Sound, I've Passed This Way Before, What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted, of course. But his ability to reinvent himself in the 80's, adding his magic to Luther Vandross's My Sensitivity Gets In The Way with Heaven 17 as well as their own Foolish Thing To Do showed me his was a voice of ages.
