It's Friday . . . Let's Dance

I'm in the mood for something a bit bouncy and not to taxing today. The constant pissing rain is beginning to really get on my nerves. I realise that it is a lot worse for people further south however it is becoming rather dispiriting to look out the window every day to rain. On saying that it is dry at the moment but it probably won't last.

So here is one of my favourite New Order songs given the Fire Island treatment by messrs Farley and Heller.

Airdrie have managed to haul themselves off the bottom of the Scottish First Division with some spirited performances of late. So I along with the boys and their granpa,  will be joining Stiff, Willie, their dad and six to seven hundred other hopeful supporters at New Broomfield tomorrow to see if the Diamonds can keep up the undefeated run against Ayr Utd. I have probably just put the kiss of death on them.

Have a good weekend people.

More power to you drew. Following local fitba with different generations is one of life's great under-appreciated past times.
John Cooper Clarke for me at a sold out Leeds Town Hall! Incongruous ... is that the word?

Should be a good gig DVD. Enjoy.

Just thinking that SA. I nearly saw JCC, he was supporting The Fall but had the flu the night of the Edinburgh gig. I was a bit disappointed but the gruppe were brilliant that night, Smith on stage for the whole performance.

I saw JCC back in the day and then more recently at the Renfrew Ferry supporting The Fall.
The Fall were awful that night (although they were brilliant the previous time I saw them at the Ferry) but JCC was superb.
He wa saying he didn't want to get a computer as he would be found dead surrounded by pizza boxes with his trousers round hus ankles!
