It's been a long week, Monday and Tuesday in Aberdeen, Wednesday and Thursday in Nottingham and today in Glasgow.
I had my first blow-out on Wednesday, which was nice! Quite scary really, tyre blew on the A1 south bound doing 80 just past Catterick. Then an hour's wait for the AA but the worst was still to come, I had to drive the 130 odd miles left to Nottingham at 45 miles an hour due to the bloody space saver tyre, it may save space but certainly doesn't save fucking time!
Anyway let's have something joyous and uplifting and I know we have had it twice already over the years but it's brilliant and besides I have had no time to think of anything else.
Have a good weekend people.

Similar thing happened to me a couple of years ago - on Christmas Eve heading north... on the A1 too! Thankfully AA were pretty prompt considering the date but driving a further 150 miles on the spare at 50mph was a real pain. So sedate at that speed - and other drivers kept flashing me to go faster!
Phil
Had a blow-out on the MI south of Leicester in my repping days; hairy. Get the train most places now, if I can. They sell booze, as you know.
Glad your home safe.
I mean 'you're' (tut)
Can't imagine you as a rep Davy. Now that I come to think of it I can actually.
Phil, the AA man was great and I got the same thing, flashed at and tooted at by lorries!
I had my first blow out recently too. M60 at rush hour. Proper shat me up.
M6, just before the Thelwall Viaduct. I was zooming along in the fast lane and there was an incredibly loud bang. I thought the exhaust had fallen off.
I was a reluctant rep Drew - but good at it. And I todally embraced the Freedom Of The Open road. Or, Being Out Of The Office And Away From The Boss, at least. Drove the Motorways of Britain. Know every one.
*weep*
Can we have some Springsteen now?
How about King Of The Road?
Roger Miller, whaddaguy
