Imelda May has a new album out later this year and I have it on good authority from Stiff that the new material is very good. Apparently she was on fire last month when she was playing the Celtic Connections festival in the town.

I really do have to try and see her live the next time she plays in Scotland, having heard so many good reports from people whose tastes in music I trust
