Conductor Dub

I'm over the water in Belfast for a couple of days but I have had some time to do a couple of posts. No, no need to thank me.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been flogging the Sexwitch album to death and I know that I am not alone, SA, Walter and the Swede have also been mesmerised by this collaboration between Natasha Khan, Toy and Dan Carey. I'm not going to post anything from the album just go out and buy it you won't be disappointed. I thought that I would post a previous collaboration between Dan Carey and Toy when he got his hands on some tracks from the band's second album and dubbed them up.

Spot on! Have a great time in Belfast (assuming it's for pleasure rather than business). Those sculptures are pretty amazing.

It's business Swede but it is also quite pleasurable. They are pretty amazing, they are the Kelpies just outside Galkirk. It is amazing how something made with such a hard cold material can look so soft.

One of the tracks on the Sexwitch release is a darker rework of an Iranian Funk (pre-Revolution) star Zia. I've always has a soft spot for Helelyos in it's original form and it can be found on my Fractured Funk Playlists to this day next to Talking Heads and Material. Sexwitch give it a rather spooky, claustrophobic (post-Revolution) feel - and I like it!!
