I think that this is a lost classic of sorts. Not included on the album that bears it's name, Screamadelica took up side two of the excellent Dixie Narco ep and I think that it is kind of forgotten about as the lead track from the ep was Movin' On Up. It is another immaculate production by Andrew Weatherall and Hugo Nicolson.

Love all the tracks on this, the Dennis Wilson cover especially.
I agree. One of those songs that is a real long trip. Like Davy I love Carry Me Home too.
All in all, it's a brilliant single. Screamadelica is a classic lost track.
Dug out Screamadelica the track earlier on this year, it's been a regular on the Pod throughout the summer. Not sure it sits right with Autumn now. *Grump*
Put it on a playlist earlier on in the year, alongside the album and The Orb and KLF classics from the same era. All sounded wonderful and not really dated.
