Lend A Hand when it first appeared was played from Bobby Hutton's 1973 album, Piece Of The Action. It then appeared on a 7" in 1978 and was released on Goldmine in 1996. Bobby Hutton, hails from Chicago and should not be confused by the man of the same name from Oakland, California who was a founding member of the Black Panthers.
Bobby Hutton - Lend A Hand
Good to have you back, Drew
ReplyDeleteAs Walter said - welcome back Drew
ReplyDeleteI was beginning to think you'd given up. Thankfully I was wrong there.
ReplyDeleteBentornato. You've been missed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a song! You can really tell Hutton had a thing for Jackie Wilson on this one. As you can see, life without Drew didn't sit very well with our pals. Count me in as a fan that was very happy to wake up this morning and see this post. These day-to-day bothers like earning a living can really cramp one's style, eh? Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteNice to have you back Drew.
ReplyDeleteHe's got staying power George - unlike some!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Drew, very pleased indeed to see you back in form!
ReplyDeleteIf that happend again mate, I'm happy to put some second-rate shite up at your place to keep things ticking over. Some indie-danc nonsense if nothing else!!
