This Week's Tipple

Every day I spend my time drinking wine.

Up here in darkest Lanarkshire Wine means only one thing. Just like ginger or juice actually means Irn Bru, when men of a certain age say "I'm off for a bottle of wine " they mean, tonic of course, not a St Emilion Grand Cru.

Cheers

    Love the track.

And being a Soft Southern Jessie, have just poured a Pinot.

    Salute!

  5. Anon, you are absolutely correct, can't abide the stuff, once drank a half bottle and proceeded to throw up.

The first time I went down the park with a bottle of wine, it was Fitou and no bugger had brought a corkscrew!

  6. It's to do with growing up in Devon and getting very drunk on some rough old farmyard scrumpy at a beach party at 16. I couldn't even stomach apple juice till quite recently.
